Hi my name is Stephen and I run a new wargames store called Central Wargaming. I have been in operation since October of last year. I am different from other wargames shops as I am a mobile business who visits clubs in Scotland to sell my wares. At the moment I am offering up to 20% off Games Workshop so if anyone is interested please feel free to visit my website at www.freewebs.com/centralwargaming. I am letting you all know that I will be at the Falkirk Club on Sunday 27th of January for their monthly meeting and again in February on the 24th. I will be visiting Falkirk each Sunday they are on and inviting other club members in the locality to come along and see what I have to offer. I have a fair amount of stock at the moment and I can always order what is required for you and bring it along to the next Sunday meeting of the Falkirk Club. If you cannot visit the Falkirk Club at any time then I can always arrange to come along to your next Saturday all day meeting if someone would let me know when that is. You can reach me through the contact details on the website if you would like anything or from my email address on the forum, to order anything or to ask about anything at all. At these meetings I can only take cash payments and receipts are available for anyone who requires them. Thanks Stephen

Hi thanks for the info. I will take you up on your offer and pop through on the 26th. Could I ask what time you start so I can make sure I am over for around about that time or thereafter. Cheers Stephen

We start on the Saturday around 10, and end at 5. Pvt Iron asks if you could pwease bring him a Fire Prism, because he is weak

If he is weak then he is better off with a cloudstrike squadron-3 x heavy hitting Falcon Grav Tanks which I am selling new for £40 instead of the usual £50 pounds. The more guns he has the more firepower can be dished out to smite his enemies. A single fire prism will draw a lot of unwanted heavy weapons fire and usually ends up a smoking ruin and probably costs a lot points wise so for the same points or slightly more he can get three tanks for the price of one-quantity over quality and three times the amount of firepower..

ok-can't get it for this Saturday as I am working all week and they don't deliver at the weekends for stockists and I need to be here to sign for goods otherwise I get charged a small fortune for redelivery but can order it for your next saturday session or we can arrange meeting before that so you have time yo make and paint it up. I would be taking orders for stuff on Saturday anyway if people were interested in a twenty percent discount.

It was not harsh it is just the voice of experience-I have played 40k for over 20 years and found that everyone always sees tanks as a threat and they blast them to smithereens with everything they have. In the way of Guard stuff I have mostly armour and some Infantry. The Infantry is made up of 55 Catachans with a Leman Russ priced £40-tank and all but three infantry painted-pictures can be found on my website at www.freewebs.com/centralwargaming under Games Workshop painted armies. The tanks I have are Three Baneblades priced at £50 each, Basilisk battery(3 guns) £40, Leman Russ Tank Squadron x2 £40 each all from the current Apocalypse range.

...and when GW Falkirk closes down and we then lose their support from our tournaments and the like?
I have no problem with the likes of small independant retailers advertising that they do have savings to offer on GW products but if you do wish to deal with them then perhaps a littlie more tact could be required.
Stirling Wargamers has a good relationship with the local GW stores. We get free advertising of the club, we get sales of tournaments and stuff from the veterans of the local GW's who aren't club members and most of all, we get help on those tournament days with top quality terrain. The very least we can do in return if buy our GW related products from them.
