I assume that this is a place for introductions, so here goes...
My name's Ben (obviously). I just moved to Stirling last August/September.
To be honest, I've been completely out of the gaming loop for 10+ years, having been a fairly avid GW fanatic circa 1992-9. Now I'm looking to get back, at least into specialist games (Blood Bowl, Necromunda, maybe even Gorkamorka - not that there seems much interest there).
Unfortunately, Thursday night work commitments mean I probably won't be able to attend the club until May or June, but at least that will give me time to collect and paint some new miniatures. I thought that if I was going to lurk then I may as well introduce myself though.

Welcome to the fourm bensaunders.
I would not say there not that many intrest, just the game is older than some memeber ha,ha. So not a lot of people will know it or some people did not start the hobby until after the game came out & went away.
I'd really like to get back into Gorkamorka myself. It was one of my main games when it orignaly came out (when I was 12?? that the time). Really enjoy the game & got to say thing are even better now than ever before due to the current cool orks models & trukks.
If anyone else is up for this I'd be more than happy to start working out a mob. I am alway looking for a project/stuff to paint so be good to get a mob with the current models up & running.
On that note, Gorkamorka rules was recently put up on the GW web site as well. If I can find them I'll post them for people who'd be intrested in trying the game out.
Like wise with Necromunda. Though don't play it that much I would not mind getting a few more games after getting a gang up & running back in 2009. I think a few people have got gangs.
Same with Bloodbowl, you'll no dout seen that we have a league on the go. Hopeful this will be on going, but ether way there are a lot of people with Bloodbowl team here. So by the time you get the club in May/June there will be ton of Bloodbowl oppents for you.
Hope this helps.

Hi Ben, There are plenty of folk cutting about who would be very happy to dig out their 90s GW stuff. I don't know if there are any Gorkamorka fans lurking in the background but there are plenty of Bloodbowl players around and a new league starting too. If 90s is your thing then I'd be up for Man o' War or perhaps Mordheim too. Space Hulk got a nice new third edition last year (which is basically first ed with brilliant new components) and there are players who would certainly be up for that.

Never tried Mordheim, though I'd be open to the possibility one day.
I do have a copy of Space Hulk, but don't think I ever played it - just bought it for plastic terminators and genestealers! I remember liking Tyranid Attack, but didn't own my own copy of that.

I'd love to get back into Bloodbowl and Necromunda and I always wanted to give Mordheim and Gorkamorka a try. Let me know if you guys get something on the go!
