Hi everone As some of you know, both me & Scott attended the 40k double tournament which was during the weekend there. Was really good. Though games did not go well, our only games useing our double list. Went for a laught more than anything else & just to play vs new oppent more than anything else. All six games where brillaint, but I think round 6 stood out a bit more in the way the game went, how my HQ battle there HQ, mine won as the oppent dice where fail him. But most of all, we got Best army Nominee & will be on the GW web site when they do a review of the event Very happy with the new event team. They care about us, as said in the other topic it not like Andy Joyce who kept away & was not a hobbiest overall, did not get on with Andy & a few other of my friends also had issue with him during the GT, but will not go into that. Anyway doing report here www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.php?showtopic=223020&st=0&gopid=2666385entry2666385I should be on the GW web site in the next few weeks. Also Nottingham sure has some intresting names, the famous Tanny, also Iain someone put on the bottem sign a F, they spray painted it on. So Iain you can now phone for a bit of tanny

Congrats on another best army nominee, glad you enjoyed the weekend. The new setup with the display cabinets for the best armies is really good gives you a better chance to look at them and it's always nice for the players to have them shown off like that.

Congrats on another best army nominee, glad you enjoyed the weekend. The new setup with the display cabinets for the best armies is really good gives you a better chance to look at them and it's always nice for the players to have them shown off like that. I also like it because the army is protected. Allow the event team time to get stuff done with out the worry of someone say drop a big camera onto one of the armies. Or say some kid ran up & pick the models up with there pee pee fingers. Or just someone who dose not have the commen sence to look with there eyes not with there hands when not asking for permission. As everone know it really pee me off when people pick my models with out permission, like the tourist during my time in GW Edinbrugh, unless I really know the person & trust them. Just due to the painting work & conversion I put into the models. Like wise the Light them self help a lot. I said on the feedback & my Round 1 oppent from ToS Nov agree the light was dark on his side of the table & got into a talk. I think he a pro that taken photos/it his job?? Just saying how the light was not so great, got talk with the event team & just how they seen where we where come from. So put in the cabints with those lights, mean all armies are same in term the light in the hall will not effected them. A bit like the Snow table as well how that can be a death of a army & one that everone want nominee dread to set up on. But really like the new event team, brillaint people. They do listen to our feedback & do there best to make the event better. I enjoy the GT in the past of course, but just how they spent the weekend talk to people, etc.... Anyone able to see me & Scott www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/blogPost.jsp?aId=15600013aJamie

Just some photos from one of the people I know from the Nov Throne of Skulls event. marts-warhammer-40k.blogspot.com/2011/02/warhammer-40k-doubles-nominated-armies.htmlThe armies where really brillaint. The Ork army won it overall was brillaint, lot of nice conversion. Like wise with the Chaos army with the Daemon Prince. Also cool to see someone finial get close up of my Space Wolves show off the viking runes a bit more. Jamie

WOW! - Daemonic Snowglobes!! Although wtf everything is meant to 'count as' I have no idea... (Which was probably the intention : (2nd and 3rd pic from bottom) Epic Titain are Bloodletter Small 40mm base are Nurglings Floating disk are Screemer of Tezentch Floating dom is the Nurgle Greater Daemon specil ch Forge World Khorne machine is a Daemon Prince End of the day it still a really nice army, brillaint painted along with the Chaos Marine allies which was also cool & have a lot of really brillaint conversion work ;D They put a lot of work into those conversion, the amount of work put into them. Would have voted for them. But I think in the end me & Scott went for the Space Shark (due to photos from past event, help me with idea on my own Space Wolves army) & the Tayler husband & wife team as there work alway cool. All armies where really cool, really high up on conversion & painting front. Jamie
