Thanks folks I think I am almost set to test out my Prussian scheme, so hopefully in about a weeks time I will have them done. Cheers

I put them together on gimp and printed them off, they would be better quality if my printer was a good one and I used top quality paper, but I think they are good enough for their purpose.

Cheers for the game by the way, I really enjoyed it. Some nice mechanics.

My pleasure as always and if you (or anyone else for that matter) fancy another game just give me a shout. And I also have my finished Prussians to share with you: They turned out better than I expected and should look good next to the Zepplins (which the theme revolves around, wait and see). But is it just me or have I made the larger ships look like a Tardis has crash landed on them? Which is kind of apt given Dr. Who had its last episode before the summer break... though the less said about that the better. Next FSA and their shiny goodness

Very nice.
I'm digging the chrome, how did you do that? Pimp my steamer indeed.

The chrome was nice and easy, I picked up some chrome spray from Motac (it would make for a great looking Grey Knight force). The only tip I have is it says to leave for 24hrs, follow their instructions, otherwise it is nearly impossible to paint over, even GW foundation was running off it like a wash. Your right though its not so much steampunk as it is steampimp I am almost done with the frigates and then the cruisers and battleship should not take more than a day (when I get down to them), then its on to the fliers which should only take a couple of days (bombers and tokens), then the carriers... then finally I can treat myself to some new stuff (just in time for the Dreadnoughts!). Cheers

Looking good Callum I'm intrigued by the chrome spray since I'm about to start painting my Necron army. After you've left it for 24 how well does it take paint, more specifically washes ?
Thanks David

Once it has been left to dry paint will take fairly reasonably, washes don't have the surface tension to stay where you want them to go (they just end up in small blobs everywhere), perhaps a little medium mix will solve that though. I should be able to update you on that tonight though

Nope, medium mix does make a slight difference but washes really don't sit well on the chrome paint.
