Happy new year to all!
A quick question to those interested, some peopl on the Warhammer forum asked why not allow chaos dwarfs?
And tbh I have not really seen them play to give an answer. What are people thoughts here? And would having them put you off?
Mark
Ps thanks to all the Stirling guys for signing up. Hopefully someone can pass this onto the Stirling GW, there has been several new clubs showing interest from Glasgow and north England so would be good if some of the less regular face knew also!

i have not actually read the new book/ rules for them and ive not seen them play, but due to what i heard online i think they are considered to be a very average army and not overpowered. with that in mind i personally wouldn't have a problem with letting people use them, i wouldn't mind playing them in a tournament tbh.

Here is the list of clarifications asked by players; I have also updated the tournament pack with any clarifications. The new rules pack can be found here: docs.google.com/open?id=0B7c3oIXuopJrZGZiZmUwYTAtNjRjYy00NzFjLWEzNDQtNzI4OTMyMmY1Nzc1-Scenario 3+4 Can unique units which consist of either 10 infantry or 3 montrous infantry like skink/krox contest? If so can a mixture of unit types make up a scoring unit? As long as you fulfil one of the size criteria, ie 10 skinks(infantry) or 3 kroxigor (monstrous infantry) they can claim, for simplicity a mixture of unit types cannot, ie. 5 skinks and 2 kroxigor is not enough.-Scenario 4 Can you gain a bonus 600 points at the end of every player turn? No only once per game per payer- House rule number 1, characters that also happen to be montrous infantry; Ogre Butcher for example, the intention seems for them to only suffer a single wound, but the last line "Note this only applies to characters and does not affect mounts or monstrous infantry etc" could be interpreted by some unscrupulous types as making them suffer the full effects of the spell. All characters monstrous or not only ever take one wound, non character monstrous infantry etc are affected as normal.A question on the "Capture" scenario - what size does a unit of Chariots need to be to capture? Minimum of 3 chariots in a unit required to capture the objectivesThe decision has also been made to allow chaos Dwarfs as we feel no reason to not allow. Of all the people we asked the mains concerns where regarding knowledge of the list. Due to this we would ask for any players wishing to play chaos dwarfs to be expected to explain the army to their opponents; a reference sheet would be beneficial in aiding this. For clarification it is the forge world army list from the book Throne of Tamurkhan and still is required to fulfil all army criteria listed in the Warhammer rulebook. (Any chaos dwarf players requiring clarification please contact us)
