I appreciate that the vast majority of you will be based in Stirling but thought I'd let you know about an event DWARF are running for Warhammer Fantasy in June. It's always a friendly event with plenty of banter. Cry Havoc will be taking place on 16th June 2012 in the Del Farquharson Centre, Dunfermline. Format is 2400points and scenarios are 3 straight Battlelines. There is little comp apart from our usual "No Special Characters etc" and some changes to spell effects. Tickets are £15 each and include Lunch and doughnuts at the start of the day. The rules pack and countdown have been added to the club website. www.dwarfclub.com/Dunfermline_Wargaming_and_Roleplaying_Fellowship/Cry_Havoc_2012.htmlLet me know if you're interested, Payments can be made by Cheque, Paypal, bank transfer or cash in person at one of our club nights. If you require payment details please drop me a Pm. Posted on behalf of Brian Forrester

Update: We now have a number of useful resources for Scottish gamers, particularly regarding information on what's going on in Scotland. The facebook group Central Belt Pick-Up Gamers includes online resources of maps of gamer groups and gaming vendors and a gaming events calendar that aims to cover all of the upcoming events in Scotland, both found below: maps.google.co.uk/maps/user?uid=211180759489702721961&hl=en&gl=ukwww.google.com/calendar/embed?src=recessiondodge%40gmail.com&ctz=Europe/LondonThe number of resources available to gamers is only going to increase as I work on them and other help me input their details in but ultimately I need your help to do that. I would be much obliged if you are on Facebook and signed up to Central Belt PUGs. Thanks for reading

Right folks, I've had a chat with some Blood Bowl tournament organisers and after some thought I'm going to scrap the tournament idea and put in something more permanent in place. I'll be starting up a Blood Bowl only once a week or fortnight group for people in the Glasgow area as there are loads of clubs that play but don't have much of a regular, large league. If you can make it on a regularish basis you're more than welcome to join in. More to come as I book venues and ensure we have enough boards.

If you struggle to find players give me a shout and I'll put it to those outside the club who I know do a lot of RPGs in that area.

All worth considering, particularly considering how I was late for the Stirling tournament I was thinking Sunday. For times most start around 9 and finish around 5ish. As it's a Sunday I would ideally shunt that back to 11am-7pm. It would be unlikely for me to squeeze 4 games into a tournament like this as it would be designed for newer players and I'd expect games to go to time at that.

If I said was a non-NAF tournament, 5 pound, mostly designed to encourage new/newish players to the hobby in the centre of Glasgow - date depending with at least 2 month's notice, would that be suitable?

If I ran a one day Blood Bowl event in the middle of Glasgow, what would it take for you to attend? What would put you off attending? I would appreciate any constructive feedback, thanks
