Well, first of all a big thanks to everyone who turned up on the day and (hopefully) had as good a time as I did.
I also have to mention a few additional thank you's to some people that didn't get the credit they should have. So, a big thank you to Ronnie, the hall's caretaker who made sure that we had enough tables, that the PA system was working, the fridge was stocked with juice and that the heating was on in the morning. All simple stuff, but without them, a lot more work on our part.
I also have to thank Donald McCallum and Neil McKay (from GW Falkirk), for making all the certificates and trophies that were awarded on the day, again, a massive contribution.
Anways, enough of the rambling and onto the results. As you can see from the score below, it was Owen Bell from North-West Warriors who walked away with the Overall Winner Certificate, Trophy and a set of the 25th Warhammer Anniversary Critical Roll dice. Fraser McIntosh was a close runner-up and winning himself a copy of the BL novel, Runefang. Coming in 32nd and winning himself a copy of the Warhammer 40k rulebook (perhaps he might have more luck with that game ) was Ian Campbell.
Finally, not evident from the table below, but Adam Tuner from North-West Warriors won the Best Army nominations by about 15 clear votes and got himself a signed copy of Graham McNeil's Heldenhammer, along with a framed A3 artwork of the book front cover. Pictures of his army will be on the website soon.
So again, congratulations to all the winners.
Note: If you're wondering why you appear to be one place lower than you were on the sheet on the wall in the club then it was discovered shortly after that a player was given the wrong points for his last game ( and he jumped about 15 places once it was corrected - apoligies again to the player in question).
Also, if you click on the link below, it will open a pdf file with the above info as well.
