Hi everone Right as most you lot have seen, I have started a Imperial Guard force. The only down side is ever time I try get some camouflagen it just look wrong or those I seen so far with step by step look a bit cartoony. However I foound this site a while ago that is migsula from Bolter&chainsword. A ace painter, however he use veljio (sp) paints or what ever there called. Just wounding how I would get these useing GW paints www.pbase.com/migsula/image/28409662www.pbase.com/migsula/image/28409655www.pbase.com/migsula/image/28409644www.pbase.com/migsula/image/56544648www.pbase.com/migsula/image/56544643www.pbase.com/migsula/image/37654641It just more the main green you see there. Was thinking of ork hide (foundy paint) as the base coat, Catchan (sp) green, then Catachan green mix with some blechbone. Any other idea's or way to get this colours. Also being talking with Neil & Donzo who have both given me some great advice one of the main once being the spray gun & the new inks/wash ;D I got a while to wait as said I'm waiting for the new Spray gun to come out from GW as well as there inks/wash. Thanks Jamie ps: I high recommend that everone look through the rest of his site as all his armies are cool & pack full of cool ideas for conversion to painting.

best bets to jut get some Vallejo paints, where as GWs paint range is bright and vibrant, which is good for space marines etc, for camo Vallejos range is much more realistic which lots of military colours

Why not just PM Migsula?
I know his work from Warseer, and im sure he wouldnt have any problems with you asking for advice
But as Gav said, Vallejo stock a range of usefull colours for this kinda work, and they're good qulaity paints, P3 paints might also be an idea, as again theres another range of colours available there (and P3 paints are apparently fantastic for coverage etc)
If you want to stick to GW paints; rotting flesh, catachan green, camo green and fortress grey are all colours that might work. and dont be afraid to experiment mixing them in ways that you wouldnt usually.
