Just finished these (bar required touch ups pointed out by the photos) and thought i'd post them up - partly as im looking for basing advice I'm going for a weathered/battleworn look as opposed to the typical shiny marines look, and also trying to get a fairly easy and quick paint scheme on the go so i can actually get an army finished (new washes are great for this!) and so far this scheme hasnt taken long at all. But im stuck on how to base them. I'm tempted to go for an urban look but im not sure if that will make the mini's overall to grey? ideas? Cheers Duncan

I thought you were going to paint them good? Oh! Nah kidding, they look good, I think urban rubble would look cool on the base, but steer clear of the standard rubble, maybe add more brown like broken brickwork or something

How about pipes and sludge? Green sludge could work as a contrasting colour while still keeping it urban.
