This sounds like a really good way of having a day of Urban War for the many of us that are still new to the game. I am hoping to be there though that will be in the middle of my Fire Service training (three months) where I'll only be at home during the weekends so I'll have to plan which days I can manage to spend away from Stirling.
An excellent -sounding day Andy.

Hey folks, a quick update...
There's only a month to go and already 11 tournament places have been secured (including Stirling's own Gus)! We're increasing the limit to 16 to make certain everyone who wants to guarantee 4 games over the day can do so.
The majority of places have been taken by Scottish Clubs who are bringing their new Strike-Teams to the day. Remember, contact me ASAP if you want to play.
The tournament schedule is: 09.30 to 10.00 Registration and doughnuts 10.00 to 11.20 GAME 1 11.20 to 11.30 Break 11.30 to 12.50 GAME 2 12.50 to 14.00 Lunch 14.00 to 15.20 GAME 3 15.20 to 15.30 Break 15.30 to 16.50 GAME 4 17.30 Awards
The Convention schedule is designed to compliment this: 10.00 to 11.30 Enter Painting Competition 13.00 to 13.45 Seminar #1 15.30 Painting Competition judged 17.00 to 17.30 Seminar #2 17.30 Awards

That's 18 places fully-booked in the tournament, so that's us full up. There is space for many pick-up games though as well as the demos, retail stand, painting competition, seminars, studio models, and... the Yokai model for everyone who comes through the door.
If we suffer any player drop-out (I predict one) then anyone willing to come on-spec will be eligible for a make-weight place in the tournament. They'll play for the £2 entry instead of the £5 as they won't be guaranteed the games.
Game On!
Andy

Don't want to seem like i'm spamming my own thread, but I received this great news:
Retail therapy: Urban Mammoth will kindly be offering 3-for-2 on boxes and 4-for-3 on blisters during the Urbanisation event. Oh yeah!
