Reading the Sunday Herald the other day I had one of those rare moments when I actually recognised a celebrity. And it turns out he's a 40K gamer. Not just that but he sounds like a current 40k gamer too (Eldar player). I tend to drift through life having reconciled myself that there are not too many other gaming birdwatchers out there other than myself but it turns out he's a birder too! What a guy!

Yeah, there was a thread on Warseer a while back basically asking the same question. Has anyone ever seen a famous person playing a GW game or in a GW store and if I remember correctly, the list was quite entertaining. Also, in the interviews regarding the upcoming Ultramarine movie, John Hurt said that he used to take his son along to "the Warhammer shop" quite often.

Not sure about warhammer but the two guys from the band 3OH!3 admitted that the geekiest thing they'd ever done was play a game of Magic backstage at a gig before they went out to support Snoop Dogg so they are definitley Magic players.
