Right well, after a rash promise to the missus about not buying any more toy soldiers for a while, I've been severely tempted by the new Dark Eldar range as a way of getting back into 40K. So, in a bid to keep my word to her, I've been wracking my brains to come up with a way of getting my mitts on them, without actually buying any.
Figuring that there may be a few folk either looking to bulk out their armies to take advantage of the new hordes rules in WHFB, or starting up new armies themselves, I'm contemplating any or all of the following - model assembly, conversions, painting. Exact value of services would be mutually agreeable, and no cash transactions would take place as I'm doing it purely to build up a Dark Eldar force without p'ing off the missus.
For starters, I'm probably going to be after at least one of every kit, and once I get a good look at the book, I'll amend the list. So, amount required, item required, RRP cost (per item). To be honest, I don't care if you can get them cheaper than RRP, providing they are NIB, it just works out as a better deal for you. Bold items are most preferable.
1x Lelith Hesperax (£8)
4x Dark Eldar Wyches (£15)
4x Dark Eldar Reavers (£21)
5x Dark Eldar Raider (£20)
1x Dark Eldar Hellions (£15)
1x Dark Eldar Kabalite Warriors (£15)
1x Dark Eldar Incubi (£18)
1x Dark Eldar Mandrakes (£18)
1x Urien Rakarth (£8)
1x Dark Eldar Ravager (£30)
So, yeah, that's it basically. Let me take the pain out of getting your army on the table, and in the process of helping out a fellow gamer jonesing for new minis, you'll be creating a new whipping boy for the 40k tables. Because as everybody knows, I really suck at anything more tactical than a full frontal assault...
Just shoot me a PM to discuss details.
Cheers,
John
PS - Gus, if this should be somewhere else, can you move it please mate. Cheers.
