Looking forward to next weekend.
Just one thing I wanted to know before the event in regards to the painting comp. Are we allowed to enter Duly/Diorama's?? It would be a Warhammer 40k one.
Thanks
Jamie

To be honest .I don't run the painting competition, but i don't think there would be a problem with your Dully/Diorama.The guy that run it is pretty switch on and i would think he would say yes.

Really good day. Was great the stand & work along with Chris.
Then getting a look around. Learnt a lot from the flee market like 10 to 12pm is the busy time but 2.30pm it was quite. So good to know for next year.
Few annoyed parts. Please note this has nothing in anyway to do with Carronade or Falkirk wargame club, like I said they done a brillaint job with the event & why I enjoy going since my first one in 2008.
1: When me & Chris where sort out the bags for our last offer before call it a day. We notice that a Space Hulk (Limited ed 2009) Terminator on throne was missing from out stand. Just with it being a rare model & Chris was going to gather the Hulk models he had left for some last min offer.
No idea how it happen as both me & Chris where keep a eye on our stuff. For me it been a habit from my time working in GW Edinbrugh as part timer. Sort of why put me off games when people pick up stuff, it catch the conrner of your eyes in term notice.
2: Just before pack up I spoted two kids around 4 year old wrestle each other near the painting comp, as there parent where busy looking around. So due to lack of attesion & being kids. I went to check if my own models enter where alright, which they where, just when I pack up everthing & was done with the flee market table.
However I came back to see the paint comp around 2.30pm & notice one of my Grey Hunter where broken. As said this was not the case when I pack up 1.30pm. As everone know, my Space Wolves models mean a lot to me due to the hard work I put into them & how they have been doing in tournaments.
No idea what happen, just one of my Grey Hunter where broken. Was not to bad & he has been fix. But still it is a bit annoying, as said everone know the work I put into my Space Wolves army.
But again really good day. Thanks to Falkirk wargamer for this event & for it to keep going. Have enjoy it since my first one from 2008. First time selling stuff on flee market & learnt a lot from that. Was happy to book a bit of extra time & I think pack up after 1pm work out well as said as it quite down a little. Yet, even before I had all my stuff out, I was already sell stuff from the start & was really busy up to 1.15pm.
So looking forward to next year. Like wise was great to met up with a lot of people I know from Glasgow, Edinbrugh, our own Club & GW Falkirk. Good to catch up with people though out the day. Also a few people I sold models to, come up & talk to me after me & Chris time was up.
Gutted I never got a chance to see our own wargaming club table.

Thanks for the support - glad you enjoyed it. Sorry for the problems on the painting competition No worries about it. Just was unsure why the model was broken & just me personial it annoyed me when a Space Wolf or IW broken due to time. Ment nothing ubber bad by this, just with this being the fourms & all, not face to face. As said was unsure what had happen. But again as said I would like to thank the Falkirk wargaming club for this. Really great & just the whole camaraderie. As I had people talking to me who I sold stuff to, just talking about our hobbiest in general, etc... I really look forward to next year & enjoy my time during the flee market. On a side note I made a fair amount of money from the stand. Really shock in a good way (again with this being the fourm & all). Also a lot of people where happy with the stuff they have bought from me & Chris. Jamie

My first time at Carronade and had a good day. Was nice to meet a couple of you too. Came home with a pile of figures I don't quite know what to do with though...
I'm hoping I can convert some old plastic Warzone figures for Necromunda - maybe with a bit of work and different paint schemes I can make Arbites, Ash Waste Nomads, Cawdor and Orlocks out of them. (Too bad I already have Van Saar, which might have fit best.) Any other ideas? Perhaps an IG army?
