I started reading the books a couple of years ago but it never quite grabbed me. I feel like I should give them another go as they appear universally respected and enjoyed by most fantasy fans. I'm looking forward to the series so I think I should read the books first.
I do own the FFG Game of Thrones boardgame if anyone fancies a shot?.....

You can now watch a 14min perview of the TV serise blastr.com/2011/04/watch-14-minutes.phpOverall I like it & look forward to the serise starting on the 18th of April. Really happy to get serise like this as TV been rubbish for a while & to much reality show which lucky is phase out. But looking forward to watch this & that it start the day after I return from the Throne of Skulls Grand Tournament. Jamie

How brillaint has the Games of Thrones been!!!
The start was sort of lost to me, but now it all click into place. Though I hate that blond hair price, the sort of "specil" kid in tonight ep. Like wise find Sean Bean character the older daught he has is bratish, just remind me of a spoil kid.
But the rest has been brillaint & tonight ep really did have me on the edge of my seat. Really hype for each one.
Really happy that we finial have decent stuff on TV. Just really sick & tired of all the realtic/general rubbish we see. To have stuff like Band of Brother, Games of Throne & DrWho been brillaint. IT Crowed, Black Books. Other than that I am lost to think what other tv serise I enjoy.
But so far really recommend Games of Throne to anyone. I am hope for a big battle scene that some stage. Going to get the serise on dvd as soon as possible/when release.
Jamie
