Incoming! Tomb Kings
So tomb king for May release after the might Grey Knight. Still rememeber my trip to Nottingham last July & none of the Tomb King stuff was on display/complete gone from the display cabint which display all the models we see in the codex/army books & White Dwarf.
Though I post this up as I know a few people who are thinking of Tomb King or Paul who already has a force if I rememeber rightly.

Cheers Jamie. Perhaps the TK release could be the catalyst that gets me playing WFB again...

I still mourn the loss of generic undead (and chaos) armies - not that my armies ever got that far, but I can't even make what I did have into a decent army now...

They look cool and I can certainly admire the paint job but TK's have never been an army that has excited me.
I'd much prefer VC's as an Undead army.

Most of them I really like. The Sphinx is great but I think the Necropolis Knights are a little goofy looking. Can't wait for the book though.

I note that in the GW email I just got the sphinx has a humanoid torso, centaur-style, which looks pretty interesting.
Good to see that the knights and stalkers seem to be one kit with two assembly options too = some nice spare parts. I do agree that they're a bit goofy looking though!

Call me cynical, but could we be seeing 8th edition power creep already?
Going by the write up on the GW site, it can make a flying T8, 5 wounds stompy monster of death, that is only wounded by bolt throwers on 6's.
Cue sales pitch, either buy this, more bolt throwers, or some new cannons...
(might as well drop my pants now, I know I'll get jumped on for this...)

The Tomb Guard are nice, but I've just seen they're over £25 for ten. Ouch!
