Ok nothing is set in stone for this saturday i was wondering if people who would be attending had any insight into what they would want to do? Of course you can come along and do your own thing as normal, but i think the opportunity of having the longer session allows for something out of the normal?
Is anybody got any ideas for campaigns/scenarios/events, etc. Please post up here and see if we can guage enough interest.
I will start off with a few ideas i would not mind participating in.
-Blood bowl cup, I know some of the regualr players cannot make saturday.
-Fantasy campaign. We did talk about a small campaign which would be something different and maybe refresh some players enthusiasm for the new edition.
- general practice for SOS, the long day meas you can try several scenarios, tweak lists, play more diverse armys etc.
Obviously there are many more ideas, none of which will work without a following, so please post up any ideas you feel might be good and see who fancies joining in.
Thanks Mark

Perhaps trying to organise for the May Saturday session now is an idea? That way there is plenty of time for folk to get interested, involved and organised.

Agreed,
If you want a successful event, you want to be planning it now for May and posting all the details up about a month beforehand (finalised details).
The more details and time you give people, the more interest you will generate (and they, by word of mouth). With enough time given, even those with work commitments that REALLY want to be there can arrange time off / cover. Remember there are also potential attendees outwith the club and it may well be worthwhile tying up with John to cast your net further afield. (But to get them to travel, you need a GREAT event, hence the prepare now)
