They'll be using the current metal moulds, but with a new technique for producing resin casts from them. It seems that all metals will be replaced with the new material.
Donald has seen them up close and says they are amazing. Much better than the metal sculpts coming out of the same mould. Apparently the resin is nicer to work with than the FW stuff too; less brittle.
Sounds good to me :-)

You can see a few more photos on the GW web site on the banner www.games-workshop.com/gws/home.jspIt like seen the wip model that Games Day, it wired because I am use to seen them in this stage before being made into metal. But they look cool. From what I seen on the fourm there a bit more detail. So for exsample instead of a strip of teeth/line. There now more single. Anyone who see the FW model, like Raven Guard Captain know what to exspect in regard to this detail. For me I am happy because I enjoy converting. Just the old metal Killer kans & deff dread where the bane of my life when I had them for a commission. Or my Iron Hands Dreadnought, though cool just cutting all that metal made my hands got numb & all blister up. By the look of it. The models will be sold in box set instead of Blister. On another note Games Workshop facebook page has set up a FQA if you have any question in regard to the finecast models. For exsample, FW models you need to wash them, so would the same apply to the Finecast, as said just a exsample. Jamie

Ushabti will now be available in a box of 3 for £30. I guess it's more because of being three in a box, rather than being resin, but that's actually a price cut compared to £13.80 each!
