A few of the guys from the club have recently looked into this, we are now starting to purchase armies and learn the rules etc from a very well established FOW group.
I was wondering if anyone has looked into this or indeed has an army and would like to learn, becasue once we get the grasp im sure we will be playing at the Club.
Anyways im going to try and use it as a test to paint more neutral paint schemes (realistic) to hopefully replicate in my celtic army this summer. I might even get a blog going :-)
Well ill stop digressing, hope any closet FOW fanatics will come out, the more the merrier!

Personally, I'm not that interested in historical stuff, so I won't be getting in at the moment - I think a Mordheim warband will be my current project - but I wouldn't rule it out in future if there are some players at the club.
Could someone give us an idea of what a new entrant to FoW would need to get started? Looking at their webstore I see it's about £35 for five tanks and varying prices for infantry, artillery, etc, but I have no idea how much is required for a reasonable game.
