Hello folks, I know not everyone is in to Warmachine/Hordes but Privateer Press have just had their first self contained event, like GW's Gamesday. Anyway lots of interesting stuff is surfacing through blogs and so on. Of particular interest, to me anyway, is a lecture and Q&A session given by one Doug Seacat (PP lead writer and 'historian'). It is has been posted up on Guts 'n Gears youtube channel, it is well worth watching if you like hearing about fantasy fiction from the horses mouth. www.youtube.com/user/GutsNGears?feature=mhee#p/a/u/1/hiHD_w_gVJAFor those of you not familiar with the world in which Warmachine/Hordes is set in, it is very akin to Tolkin's 'Middle Earth' in terms of the lengths they have gone to chronicle it. Doug Seacat regularly answers peoples questions regarding the history, peoples and events of the Warmachine/Hordes world. And so an hour long presentation regarding the lore and history leading up to the present point of the world, from the horses mouth, is a very interesting prospect. If you have not seen it already, and like me enjoy fluff surrounding PP's world, I highly recommend doing so! Now I am off to watch the second part Cheers

I hope you enjoy it, it is a really nice (albeit brief) introduction to the history of the Iron Kingdoms. The second part is not required viewing, as it is the Q&A session, so as usual its a few really nerdy people asking very limited question. So that might save you 30 mins
