Thought i would pop in and say hello. Gave up WHFB around 10 years ago (maybe not as long but my memory is terrible in my old age.)
Got to thinking a few weeks ago that i did miss the painting and the occasional battle now and then so hopefully i will get an army together soon and possibly pay a visit to your neck of the woods.
Need another hobby since i have weened myself off that new super addictive drug that is WOW. My 65 shammy will just sit in some abyss somewhere for the next 6 months or so until Blizzard deletes him.
Anyways..Hopefully i can pay a visit in the next couple of weeks.

Excellent to hear of someone coming back into the hobby! You'll be very welcome along at the club. Warhammer has gone through a couple of editions in the last ten years but you'll be pleased to hear that the current rules-set is very very good and the models are better than ever.
Pop down on any Thursday night and we'll sort you out with a cuppa and show you around.
Cheers for now Paul
ps - well done for managing to wean yourself off the virtual crack that is WoW. The day I typed Delete for my NE Druid was a harrowing one! It had to be done though, it was eating up my life...

Hello Stirling,
I'm from the Kirkcaldy club. Just thought I'd say hi, and good to see some of you came to DWARF's Cry Havoc 2007. That was pretty good eh? It was my first WFB tourney! Hope to visit you sometime, and of course you guys are welcome at our club too.

Hello, Good to hear from you. I can't tell who you are though, what army did you field? I ended up 15th out of 36 with a minor loss, a major victory and a draw. It was a cool day of gaming though.
Cheers Paul Brooks
