I will be moving to Stirling at the end of September and I was thinking of joining a wargames club (I have been a member of other clubs in the past).
A few questions:
1. What is the joining fee? (is there one?)
2. What is the weekly attendance fee?
3. What is the fee for the all-day Saturdays?

Hi there, well, to introduce ourselves, we are a regular wargaming club that have been up and running for just over three (or is it four?!) years now. We basically operate to provide a place where people can find new opponents, arrange campaigns, participate in tournaments and enjoy an open wargaming policy. We are a non profit making club that invests the clubs resourses into new tables, scenery and supporting the players. We have an open games policy so you are welcome to play any wargames that you fancy. GW systems are especially popular and we organise tournaments for WFB in the spring and for 40K in the autumn each year. Other systems that crop up occasionally include Flames of War, Blood Bowl, Mordheim, Warmachine, AT-43, WAB, Gothic and Man O' War. We have a pretty extensive scenery collection and folk are welcome to help themselves to whatever table-tops and scenery they need for their game. Our regular club night is 6-10pm on Thursdays and we also have all-day saturday sessions at the end of every other month. There is a note in the Notices section of this site HERE that details the various dates in our calendar. We do operate a membership scheme and club meetings are charged at £2 for members and £3 for non-members. This price is the same whether it's for the all-day sessions or the regular Thursday nights. Membership costs £10 per year and also grants discounts with a couple of retailers. I hope that that has helped answer some of your questions. You'd be welcome to come along and have a look whenever you like. First visit is always free and teas and coffees are also free so at the very least you'll be able to have a look around and relax with a cuppa. Cheers for now Paul B
