The one that jumps out of that list for me is The Golden Compass. The His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman were the the best books I've read for years. I hope that the film comes somewhere near being able to represent them on the screen. I also hope that Hollywood dosn't water down it's themes too much, though I fear the worst on that front. I gather that it's been in production hell for a while but I'm still really looking forward to it. I'd reccomend the books to anyone. Awesome fantasy.

im looking forward to transformers! was watching the old cartoon movie yesterday, reminded me how awsome it is (and also inspired a transformers tau army.. )

Transformers looks to be good, Resident Evil will be awful but then I have come to expect that from those movies... Unsure about the Simpsons, not overly keen on the cartoon anymore, but the movie might be good, need to wait and see more trailers
