Hi everone
Just wanted to ask if anyone know of any good store or site that sale scale 1:30ish WWI Britsh Soldiers?
As said to a few people I've started my exam (graded unit) & we got to do Defence/Seige. I op to make a WWI Trench, just need a few models (7ish) to show scale really.
Thanks
Jamie

There is a wee model shop near GW Falkirk (ask them what its called, they know it, does like plasticard etc) but it also does 1:35 scale tanks, not sure what era though. I picked up a 1:35 transport thing today to convert into a trojan or Centaur

The model shop in Falkirk is called Leisuretime, but your best bet for WW1 figures would be Jamieson models in Glasgow or Static games in Glasgow they sell 28mm Renagade WW1 figures

The model shop in Falkirk is called Leisuretime, but your best bet for WW1 figures would be Jamieson models in Glasgow or Static games in Glasgow they sell 28mm Renagade WW1 figures Hi, thanks With Jamieson I am not a fan of the shop, use to be great a few year back but now (not really ment to sound insulting/anything uber bad). Just went in today & had nothing that I was in need for, not really the problem but it was more off the staff being a bit unfriendly to me & my college friends/keep hassling us to leave when we done nothing wrong other than walk in & had a little look. Just thing like ignore us when we need/ask for help & as said started to rush us out, so forth. Same happen last week when a few people from my course went to have a look while in the planning stage of this project. But on that note same with DF (think that what there called) model shop in Glasgow near by Jamieson's, there like that as well but a bit more league of gentlemen feel to it with the local shop. Static a great little shop, like going there time to time ;D but 28mm might be a bit to small as my Trench model scale 1:30 no more (well up to 1:35) no less. My Model trench is going to be 80mm high with a 20mm fire step. But again could go in & see what what & see if they know of any good area's to get some WWI models. Thanks again ;D Saying about Glasgow, what the Bunker shop like if anyone has been to it, seen it on yello pagies/been told by a few college friends who have walk pass it as well. As for the Falkirk shop yep I know the shop your both talking about ;D I'll see if I can pop in there on Tue while heading to GW or if not try pop in some time during the week. Again thanks for the help & also I do not mean to sound insulting about Jamieson shop to anyone. Just after today would really not like to step in there again & like wise with my class. Finial, any web store that anyone could recommend me for WWI models? Thanks again for the help everone. Jamie

Thanks for the help everone ;D Mange to get some as one my class mates while getting there scale models found some for me. Also here what the model look like (started on Mon there, had Mon, Tue morning, Wed & Fri) I've also name area for a bit of fun & because they use to name area of a trench after football teams, streets, ect... Since mine not on a specific (sp) battle feild per-say though theme it on Britsh though be good laught for my class & HNC to name areas. ^ This one name after a attasion seeking person in my class that everone hates. She dose not know this which is better would have added "beware of troll" ^ This is the one my Teach Chris name ^ Funk hole, this was on of the the ref sheet I got along with other names. Just everone preffer I use the funk hole as my Command area ^ One way ticket bridge was just a joke about people dropping out in the course & because had nothing else in mind. Got other names on it like Cheese Trench - Due to one of our Teach is kind of posh when it come to food getting stuff like fine cheese or steaks, etc... Sheep Land (No Man's Land) - In honour of my college friend Allen due to he live in a farm region... you can pretty much guess why the name. Other area just name after Movies like Sleepy hollow. So Mon see the side cap off in 0.5mm styrene, follow by glueing 2000 bits of thin wood (joy) & should hopeful finish details work as well. Then Wed to Fri mean painting it & the scale models. So tired after rarely taken a break during college hours, on getting this model started . Again thanks for the help Jamie
