It's once a month on the 2nd last Saturday of each month from 1pm-4pm (23rd of July coming up this month) with an aim to expand every to bi-weekly. A squad would be amazing! I'll send you a link of the details from Facebook as I don't want to advertise other clubs here too much.
We started the club last month and played some board games. It really depends who show up. If you bring a squad of 40k players then by all means there are other players there who would love to get on that bandwagon. I'm really into Bloodbowl myself.

I met the Howlers at Carronade briefly but haven't yet been as I don't do much GW stuff any more besides Bloodbowl and Necromunda. We've started up a club in Hamilton if you're interested - it has a bring it/ play it ethic so anything goes.

I created a group on facebook and it appears one other might be heading over from Stirling. There will be a few from GUGs coming over as it's on their doorstep. I can't speak for any of the other clubs.

Thanks very much! I tried to choose the date so that it didn't clash with local events. Sorry about the clash with the tournament and best of luck!

Here's an opportunity to get some gaming in while raising money for a good cause! There'll be 3 main themes for the day: BRING IT! Bring your games - board games, RPGs, card games – whatever you want to play! Bring your spare change! There'll be chances to put it to good use! Bring your home baked goods! Gamers need fed and funds need raised! Bring your old games you want rid of! Donate them and clear some cupboard space! TRY IT! There'll be all sorts of gaming on the go. Why not come along and try something new out? Check out all the great stuff going on at the Free Hetherington! There's a whole lot of help and opportunities that the venue can provide to you and the local community. My Mum's even promised to make her wonderful home-made cheesecake. It's to die for! MEET NEW PEOPLE! Come along and spread the good word about your club or gaming group! Find out about different groups in the area and share good practice! Use it to tell like-minded gamers about clubs and projects you would like to start-up! The event is free to attend and will be open from 12pm-7pm on Sunday, 26th Jun – that's just over a week's time away! It will be held upstairs in the Free Hetherington. Directions can be found on their blog here: freehetherington.wordpress.com/find-us/, with nearby access from Hillhead underground station. It's on the same street as the QMU and has a very large banner over the top of it. If you have any questions at all just drop me a line here. All funds raised will go to Barnado's charity who help needy kids in whole host of ways. For more details on the great work they do check out their website here: www.barnardos.org.uk/what_we_do.htm. Looking forward to seeing you there! And remember, there's cake...

I'd just like to throw in that my mate Gav might be able to help. His website is www.shaekonnitgames.co.uk/ and can be found on Facebook as Shae Konnit.

First of all, this is a cross post, so apologies for that. I'd like to hope you let me off as it will inevitably be for a good cause.
I'm planning on organising a charity gaming day at the Free Hetherington (http://freehetherington.wordpress.com/) in Glasgow and at this stage I would be looking for people who are:
- Interested in coming along to play boardgames, RPGs and cardgames - People willing to run roleplay games and demonstrations etc
It's likely to be run on a Saturday or Sunday in the near future. I would appreciate any interest or offers of contributing to the day. If you'd be interested in this mini-gaming day please let me know!
Thanks very much
- Shazz

Thanks for posting the gaming club network website - I wasn't aware of it before.
As part of the Pick-Up Gamer project I'm running we're compiling a list of clubs and how to get in touch with them across the Scottish Central Belt. There's a list of clubs on our facebook page called "Scottish Central Belt Pick-Up Gamers" if you're interested.
