Anyone up for a game on Thursday? (Assuming it hasn't been packed...)
I've even gone so far as to read the rules now.

So how close were we to playing it correctly? I take it the heavy cavalry only gets 1 extra move+attack?!? I would play again but I cant make it to the club this week. It was a very nice board game, I liked the strategy of it. I am curious to see how it scales up to bigger games with the extra board and how the adventuring works. I do like the fact that it is both a historical and fantasy game in one box. It would probably be a good idea to play it like Space Hulk and play both sides before moving on the the next mission, its not like the games took that long that you could not manage 3 or 4 games. Thanks for the game last week

Not far off actually.
Yeah, Cavalry only get one pursuit move (boo) and Bold units ignore the 1st flag rolled against them. Reading further, I don't think you even use the morale rules for the first battle...
I'm eyeing up the epic and call to arms expansions (for big games and new deployment rules) as well as the larger Darf and Goblin sets. Possibly Heroes, Creatures and Dragons too...
And no worries, it was a blast.

Pretty much. I've resisted temptation so far, but it is getting more nd more difficult.
