You're insane I promise that once the current Invasion league is over (few weeks) I'll take you up on that offer of a game.

I do need to buy some bigger decals for the larger models, I need to put some on the one above to maintain the Zero look as it is missing some extra details but its basically done.

I have made a quick start on the Prussian sky fortress, very much a work in progress (mainly due to the start of the NFL season) but here it is: I don't know how soon it is likely to be finished with being busy this weekend and Gears of War 3 coming out next week, so it will just have to be done when its done. Cheers

Finished the second eagle this evening and feel like I am getting somewhere with it now: I am fairly pleased with how similar I got the free hand as it is not something I am very comfortable doing. Hopefully it should be done by Sunday afternoon. And once its done I will be looking for a game of Dystopian Wars shortly after to celebrate having finished two 850pt forces, if someone wants to volunteer. Cheers

Glad you like them. They have certainly been the most time consuming to paint and model (damn you tiny fliers and free hand).
I am actually busy basing the fleets on perspex bases to protect them from chipping, Squinty had pointed that problem out when I played him so I have taken it on board. I thought clear bases would be best due to the differing playing surfaces and bases not being necessary in the game.
Obviously the sale of your house is impacting on everything your up to at the moment, but what are your current thoughts on a force for yourself?
Cheers

New DW toys arrived this weekend: Which consists of a land starter force and 2 Metzer robots, I also got a EoBS starter but have not put that together yet. The Metzers are definitely one of the coolest models out for DW... though there are quite a few, but at least they are fairly inexpensive. Hopefully I should get both box sets painted in short order and pick up a few more naval models after that. Cheers

The Sky Fortress is awesome, and a great paint-job. Your DW collection is somewhat impressive!

Right, my land forces have arrived. Quick question, the resin that they use is it Finecast style so no washing or Forgeworld style so toothbrush and soap?
