Sorry Gus, but... I figured if I had to get it done by the 11th, or hate myself. So now I just have to wait for Skyrim to arrive in the post The only thing I want to add is more detail to the epaulettes, at the moment I am thinking I will have to make something up as they are separated by the shoulder gearing. Cheers

Hey folks, Its been a while since I have posted any pics, so here are some more zeppelins (yeah!) These are how I first envisaged doing the Imperium Sky Fortress, but it did not look quite right when I first tried it, so I am glad the scheme finally found a place in my Prussian force. Which was pinched from... I do have a Prussian dreadnought 'done' but I am not content with it, once I am happy with it I will post some pics of it too. I still have a fair bit more lying around needing painted. So the plan is to get as much of that all done before the New Year, with some time off its possible and having sickened myself on Skyrim it shouldn't hold me captive to much. So that does mean all the fun things I was planning to add to the Metzgers will have to wait till I have caught up again. Cheers

Glad you like them, the models really are very nice. The games focus is currently on the naval side of things (mainly due to the number of options available) with air and land being secondary forces for the moment. The game is also seeing some revisions at the moment to tighten up the game play and stats, so the best way to play at the moment is get someone to show you how until the new rule book is released. The game play is fun over competitive, the IGYG makes things interesting over the gaming staples, while the exploding D6 means things can get quite crazy and lastly you will find that most of the strategy is in activation order and maneuvering you models around the table. I am currently on holiday... but I will be more than happy to give you a demo once Feb comes around if you like Cheers Callum

Yup, my jammy bottoms ;D honestly they are so bright and colourful they shock me a little sometimes, importantly they are in the classic 80s style.

Depends on how quickly you want to get them painted Simplest is to spray black, dry brush grey then white and finally pic out a few details. But you can go as mad as you like: dazzle camo, historical theme or just paint them pink. But all your painting techniques are transferable to this just the details are tiny... so probably difficult to blend your paints on. As you can see I prefer working to a theme. Cheers Callum

I think i need to go and get my eyes tested and new glasses, i am due for eye test now. i want to do them very nice, so not too many layers of paint. black sound good, but dry brush gun metal? then pick out all detail white and dark blue. hummm. first is glue them together and undercoat them and have a think
