Hello all, Tickets for Rapid Fire! - Stirling Wargamer's autumn Warhammer 40,000 tournament are just about to go on sale. Tickets will initially be on sale to Stirling Wargamers members only and will be available from Thursday 2nd August.
After a two week period (from Thursday 16th August onwards) we will open up tickets to everyone.Keep an eye on the website at www.stirling-wargamers.org.uk for a pdf download of the players pack or pick up a hard copy at the club. The pdf will go up on the site this weekend. Rapid Fire will take place on 27th October 2007 and will consist of three 1750pt games. Tickets cost £10 and cover tea and croissants on arrival, a day of top-quality gaming and a hut lunch. Places are limited by space and we anticipate that tickets will sell out quickly so if you are interested I'd definately advise that you got in on the action early. Cheers for now Paul B

well, I wasn't sure what it ment, but I put "hut" on the website incase it was a reference to Pizza hut, or some other kind of foods, speaking of which, is it Pizzas from Corrieres again? (sp)

If people are happy with Corrieries, we can go for that.

thats not what what he problem is sadly (although that is also a problem) when i put the link into the browser it starts to load and then theres a error message "the file is damaged and could not be repaired" :/
Ok, well managed to get a copy of the players pack, not sure what i was doing wrong.
1 question, as im using mordian models for my guard, does that mean i have to use mordian doctrines? as i have a feeling that the colour scheme im using, although not the typical mordians you get on the old box cover, i think its listed as a mordian regiments colour scheme in the codex (dont have mine to hand at the moment so i cant check)
Basically, i think that rules a bit crap. Also screws most guard players who use a codex colour scheme, especially considering there are multiple cadian 8th scheme (5 i think?) does any army with one of those 5 schemes then have to use cadian 8th doctirnes?
Dont mean to offend, but to me it seems that rule hasnt been fully thought through. I pitty any catachan armies out there as they all look the same..

yeah, its not like marines where you can all use the same model and paint em different, thus different army, with guard the model defines the armies, meaning we wont see any regimental variants at all as we are all tied to the models we have bought (I am fine with Cadian 8th, but would have liked a choice really) stirlingwargamers.50webs.com/RapidFire2007Playerspack.pdfLinky to PDF, for some reason we are having issues with it on the site
