Well, theoretically translucent dice are better (you can tell if they have bubbles of air), but opaque is what I was expecting anyway.

Wow, I'm lucky I stumbled upon this thread, a day before the order goes out! I'll take 10 weighted dice, please. Or just 10 regular dice if they can't do weighted Now maybe my Fantasy games will start turning around!

Alright, call me Mr Thicky, but 5 University degrees, 3 of them in English lit, and I didn't know what opaque was! Here was me thinking it was some type of semi-transparent as opposed to solid. So my searching for other companies has been in vain, and I have confused half of the dice manufacturing world. 600 opaque yellow dice it is!

Jeff - if you could please keep hold of all paperwork, the club will buy the lot then people can buy them from the club stock.
It might be good to also ask the supplier for a photo of the finished product for our use. That way we can put up a nice shot on the website etc. (might be worth asking anyway...)

For those wondering what's been going on with the dice, I have put in the final order for 600. I will try and copy in the artwork here somehow... If it doesn't work, it's actually a very detailed rampant lion that they'll do for us with the laser cutter. Should look great. Red lion, red spots, yellow dice. They guaranteed me they will be ready for the tournie. Jeff Hmmm. Can't see where to paste the image in. Might stick it on my webpage when I get a chance and give you a link to that.

Hi Jeff, To include a picture within the post you need to host it elsewhere first, for example at photobucket.com. Then you need to inlude the link to the photo within the following syntax: Link Address[ /img] (without the space) Image hosting sites such as photobucket actually include a [/ img] link to copy and paste into forums such as these. Looking forward to the dice. I think we'll sell them pretty much straight away.

Hi tamb2000, they won't be ready by then I wouldn't think. I've asked the company to make sure they are ready by 28 April for the tournament. We can certainly put some aside for you, but no rush just yet. I'll let everyone know once I get a date in. Jeff

Dice are in boys, and they look great!
Due to graphic design cost they will be 35p per dice, that's 20 for £7.
I'll bring them tomorrow, but I'm not sure what the club arrangements will be. I've paid for them so the club will reimburse me and you'll buy them off the club... I think. Either way we should be able to sort out something to make sure you can get them tomorrow if you wish. If so, bring your moula!

No problem, Duncan. But we ordered 600 dice, so we shouldn't run out too fast!
