Hi Anthony,
Are you coming this Thursday? Fancy a game of Necromunda? Let me know... (I sent you a private message already.)

Yeah, thanks again to Gus (and Squinty, David, Ross, and anyone else) for organizing it. Had a good time and three good games - all pretty close.
p.s. Gus I sent my NAF membership details to the email address in the tournament pack.

Hi,
I'm always up for GW specialist games (well, BB, Necro, Mordheim, or Gorkamorka at least). I can't always make Thursday nights because of work, but let me know when you can make it and I'd be happy to give you a game sometime.
I've never actually seen Necromunda at the club before, but I'm sure most of the 'old timers' have played it at some point. I currently have scavvies, enforcers, and Van Saars - but all conversions rather than official GW models.
I hadn't played Mordheim until last year, but have had four games at the club this year. One or two of us were even thinking about getting a campaign going, if there's enough interest (but it looks like LOTR and Flames of War are the current flavours of the month). At the moment, I only have human mercenaries, and enough zombies to cobble together some undead, but I intend to build some possessed when I get time.
Hope to see you soon!
Ben

I looked to see if there was a menu outside today, but no joy. I guess I'll go for baked potato with some kind of veggie filling. Would prefer beans to cheese to coleslaw (in that order) if those are the options. Cheese and beans if it's available though.

Hi Gus,
Did you have me down for Saturday? I told you in person, but I've not paid yet. Want me to pay tonight?
Regarding meals: I'm vegetarian, so definitely no chicken curry for me. Some kind of roll and chips (if available with rolls) would be fine. Do you have a menu?

Afraid all I can say is I've never heard of it. But I'd be surprised if someone else hadn't.
Welcome to the club too.

Anyone fancy a game of Blood Bowl, using the Ochil Bowl rules, this Thursday?

Well like that review says, one of the biggest problems with people looking to start playing Infinity is the terrain. You can't just use any old 40k terrain as it doesn't look right. This stuff looks ideal for Infinity, Urban War or (mixed with some 40k) Necromunda. Fair point, though I suppose what I should have said is 'do we have people who would be keen to play Infinity if we had appropriate scenery?' (The answer may well be yes; it's a genuine question.) Personally, I'd be up for Necromunda, but I think we're pretty well enough served for that with 40k and even Mordheim scenery. Some towers with connecting walkways wouldn't go amiss, but again no point unless there's enough demand.

That must have been a mistake! Might be worth a few bob a few years from now as it's the 25th Anniversary edition, but it's still on sale in shops! The really surprising thing is that two people were apparently willing to pay £20, in order to bid it up that high. Perhaps you should hang on to the copies in store, in case they are worth something...

I didn't quite catch the announcement at the AGM. Something about Blood Bowl not happening, but is it this league that's not happening, the Ochill Bowl tournament, or both?

i'm now thinking about dropping the tomb scorpions for another warsphinx Would you have to drop all three? It may depend how you play/who you'll be facing, but I gather they can be pretty useful for tackling enemy war machines and so on. How else would you deal with the bank of dwarf cannons that will no doubt be targeting the sphinxes?
