Hi Gus,
Thanks for that. I just tried again and still no joy. Had a go with Firefox and that seems to work. So it's obviously not a general problem with Chrome, but something to do with Chrome and my computer - I'll have to try it at work and see what happens there...

Thanks for the new website. Looks nice. Only problem is I've registered but seem to be having trouble actually posting anything. Has anyone else had this?
I click in the box where you're supposed to type the message, but the cursor appears once then vanishes, so I can't actually type anything there. This is using Chrome: I've not tried other browsers yet, but wondered whether anyone else had had similar problems...

I haven't made a Thursday night in what seems like ages, but teaching's finally over at the uni so I should be there (and, hopefully, back on Thursdays too).

I know nothing about Malifaux, but my girlfriend expressed an interest in some of these miniatures when we were in Static the other week (she's likes the general aesthetic) - would be good to see some games at the club to get a flavour of the game...

I used to play WFB (4th and 5th edition) and 40k (2nd edition) but don't have armies at the moment. Like you I've decided to wait for 6th edition of 40k to come out, though I'm currently (slowly) assembling a Tomb King army for fantasy. Been playing a little Necromunda and plenty of Blood Bowl/Mordheim in the meantime though. Always nice to see more people into these specialist games!

Hi David. I've not made it to the club in quite a while, but it sounds like FoW is really popular at the moment so sure you won't have a problem getting a game. I only play GW games myself, but look forward to meeting you at some point before too long. (Should be able to make it more regularly once uni finishes in about a month.) Ben

NB: For some unknown reason Mr Wheaton spells his shortened first name with one L, so its not a mistake on my part but! !!!WHEATON's!!! Lol He's not Wiliam by any chance is he? I've known a Mathew who went by Mat rather than Matt. Or maybe he just wants to be different.

Pictures are a bit dark (on my monitor at least) but they look nice.
What are those 'boob worms'?

No proof-readers at the BBC I see... I particularly liked the photo of the 'Neocrons'...

www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-17274186Warhammer 40,000 - set in a science fantasy universe - has just turned 25. Why are grown men still launching tabletop war?
You may have walked past one of the hundreds of Games Workshops on the High Street. You may even have wandered in, especially if you are a teenage boy or the parent of one.
If you know your Necrons (virtually invincible soulless metal warriors) from your Dark Eldar (sadistic elfin pirates), the chances are you are one of the dedicated tribe who have signed up to what fans call The Hobby...

NAF doesn't really bother me much, though I am now a member.
Advance notice of the date doesn't make much of a difference for me either. Either I have a commitment I can't get out of or I don't. I'm assuming this would probably be a weekend, in which case I don't often have to work, but it's possible. (Of course, I'm just talking about me: those who need to book time off will surely welcome decent notice.)
One other thing I should have mentioned is timing. Given that I would have to come from Stirling, I'd prefer not to start before 10am, and ideally later. If it's to be (say) three games anyway then I'd prefer to start and end later. Or perhaps it could be scheduled with four games (say, starting 9am, 11:30am, 2:45pm, and 5:30pm) but give people the option of not coming for all four.
But these are just my preferences, of course. Organize around what suits most people, and I'll try to be there if it suits me.

It would mainly depend on the date and the cost for me.
