Unless you have networked printers/scanners/USB accessed devices on your network you can safely stop those services Paul.

Yeah, very nice. A nice base is often the difference between a nice model and a stunning model.

Cool, nice solid FAQ again from FFG. The Salary Cap Variant should make an interesting change to the game now that we aren't all chasing the Coaching Staff upgrade cards

Yeah like Ben has said, although it may not be a game which is played at the club every single week, you'll find that most of the vets will have a gang or warband in the house somewhere which is itching to get on a table. Come along to the club and introduce yourself and as you have suggested already in your post, the best way to get people playing an older game is to to ask them, or bring opposing forces with you so you can try and tempt new people into the game Anyways, hope to see you at the club soon Personally I loved Necromunda back in the day and it would be nice to see it being played. Also, if you liked Necromunda, you'll need to give Urban War a try - very similar games.

So I figured I would start a Flames of War terrain blog seeing as though that's basically what I'm going to spend all my free time doing soon. Anyway, 1st up is some Bocage. More to come soon...

That isn't a list of tweaks. That's a major re-release of the game dynamics :-D

Gentlemen...
With the slightly lower numbers than we expected attending on Saturday, it's not really cost viable for us to go ahead with the pizza buffet option we had originally planned.
Instead, we'll be getting lunch in from a local sandwich shop. All the usual options for a hot or cold roll are available and there is a Saturday special of chicken curry and chips so if you can let me know what you would like I can get it ordered ahead of time.
Cheers Gus

As much as I'd love to come up for this, it would mean 2 weekend passes in a row (Blood Bowl tournament the weekend before) so I don't think I'll make it.

Yeah, the club is looking at providing terrain for a 8'x6' table at a minimum while we learn the game.
It does make any game a little more tactical if artillery can be out of range depending on you and your opponents deployments.

I don't and if you don't get much of a response here on the forum, remember to ask at the club. I don't think many of the guys who play CCG's post a lot.

Choose 6th Airborne myself in the end based from Turning the Tide. Just ordered some stuff from Maelstrom and it amounts to about 1800 points. Going to add some tanks for some divisional support and so by the time I do that I should be able up to about 2000. Now we just need to focus on terrain
