Anyone up for a game of Fantasy tonight, 2250points is preferable ?
If not I'll have Blood Bowl with me too so if anyone wants a game of that I can play it instead.

Firstly, I can't go anyway as my army is Storm of Chaos and it's conveniently been labelled beardy and has been banned (yet VC and HE haven't been ). Secondly, I voted 1,999. Simply because it annoys the more sensible people and as it's a tournament there'll be dragons (que je deteste) in 2,250. Pretty sure DWARF allowed SoC lists last year but I'm not certain and in any event the new Daemons will be out before Cry Havoc.

2250 for me as I feel it is a fair points limit that gives you enough room for an expensive Lord and also the rest of your army. I wouldn't mind 1 game with a different points value or even a small warbands competition which could be cool but the tournament as a whole at anything below 2000 and it'd be doubtful if I'd attend. I feel the loss of the Lord and 2nd rare choice hurts some armies a lot more than others and as for it getting rid of some of the cheesier combo's it's a tournament so cheesy armies are expected.

Anyone want to take bets on how many of the top 25 models will have been scultped by Jes Goodwin? Well so far it's about half of them so I'd bet around 11 in total. I'm not sure on all of the choices but then again a few of them are from before my time so may be sentimental choices. I do however like the Crom model a lot and the Dark Elf Executioner. I'm also a big fan of the different types of familiars and actually own four of the ones pictured.

I own the Dwarf Slayer model, it's really cool. Just need to get it painted up when I start painting my Slayers. Pretty much all of his sculpts look great though, I've been tempted by a few of the others as well.

Not really sure if that's a good thing I think Gav still gets a lot of hate because of the Storm of Chaos but really it's just a lot of angry Orc players moaning because Grimgor didn't kill Archeon.

I'm glad I hate Chaos because if any other army had new models coming out as nice as some of these I'd be tempted to start it. I like most of them especially the Khorne ones.

I'll hopefully be attending and with the date being changed to April 19th it seems more likely. The only problem is trying to get time of work as they don't seem to be happy with me taking single days. If I am there it will most likely be with my Vamps but it would be the first tournament using the new book. Edit: Found on Saturday I definitley won't be at SoS at least if I am still in my current job.

I recommend avoiding the use of primer's templates if he brings them as they've been to parts of his body which don't bear thinking about... Atleast he didn't do the same to your beast lord and army book... oh wait.

Sounds good to me, it gives you something to do if you get an early game plus it might encourage me to paint another army than Vamps.

I enjoyed Gamesday a lot although maybe not quite as much as last year, it's a pity I couldn't take part in the participation game though since I was at the Nathan Long (Gotrek and Felix author) signing getting both Orc and ManSlayer signed when the last one started. Didn't plan on buying much just the two aforementioned books, the Gamesday model and a Blood Bowl team but unfortunately they didn't have blood bowl at Gamesday so I ended up buying a few of the addicting mystery boxes and trading of all my unwanted models with other gamers, managed to get a fair bit of LOTR since most were trying to get rid of it. On the whole good day.
Edit: I did have a look at Jamies Ork pictures and the new range looks great, I've also had a look on other forums at the new Vampire ;D models and such which look interesting to say the least.
